U16, U13 and U10 results from 05 October 2014

Sunday saw the start of the season for our U16s and the second round of matches for both our U10s and U13s.

The U16s were playing at home and got the season off to a flying start with a strong win over Tynedale and a 10-0 thumping of Berwick. Not surprisingly, those results mean they have taken an early two point lead at the top of the table with a goal difference of +13.

Both U13 teams were involved in the same mini-tournament at North Shields and the day produced mixed results. The U13A team came away with three good wins including the scalp of our own U13Bs. Unfortunately that was not the only loss for the U13B team as they also went down to Whitley Bay & Tynemouth; however, they battled to a draw with Tynedale in a hard fought contest. These results mean the U13As are now top of the table with their lead over Morpeth's U13As being down to just goals scored whilst the U13Bs have dropped to fifth in the league.

Meanwhile, the U10s were in action at Stockton where they went down to the host club; however, they did pick up three points as a result of a walkover win against Marton Furness who failed to put a team out. As a result they have dropped to fourth in league on goal difference; however, they are only three points behind the leaders.

See the ‘Links’ page on the club homepage to view the league table for each team and keep an eye out for the email with the team news for the next round of matches which are scheduled for the 16th November for the U16s and the 30th November for the U13s and U10s.
